Fairfield Bay Library was founded in 1977 by a group of ladies who met to exchange books and has grown to become a full service organization driven by volunteers who are the heart of this endeavor.
The heart of the Library is the volunteers who man the desk, staff volunteers who manage the day to day operations, and back office staff who process books etc.
The Library does not receive any Federal, State or County funds and relies on its volunteers, membership fees, fundraisers, donations and book sales for its day to day operations.
